Box Butte and Sheridan County Pivots

Here is a very nice, irrigated farm located in Box Butte and Sheridan Counties.  All of the pivots are currently planted in alfalfa with varying ages of the stands.  The farm is comprised of 628.79 +/- total acres with 542+/- acres of that being irrigated under pivot.  Located just 5 miles East of Alliance are the first three pivots with soils comprised of Satanta fine sandy loam.  The equipment at this location is a mix of Reinke and Zimmatic pivots or varying age but in operable condition.  There is 45” of water allocation remaining to get through the 2024 growing season.  The Sheridan county pivot is a diesel driven system of unknown age with fine sandy soils and currently planted to alfalfa.  The Sheridan County pivot has 57” remaining on its water allocation.  This farm is a strong producer of quality hay and is located in an area of high demand for feed for neighboring ranches and feedlots.  Contact Jeff Garrett for additional information 308-672-6334.
